Sanil Asrani’s journey with Karan began in February 2021 when he joined as Sales Head for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). His exceptional performance and leadership skills quickly caught the attention of senior management, leading to his promotion to CEO of DRC operations by the end of that same year. Asrani’s rapid ascent continued, and in 2024, he was elevated to the position of Cluster CEO for Growth, overseeing multiple regions. His meteoric rise through the ranks stands as one of the most impressive success stories within the organization, showcasing Karan’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent from within.

Anita Tembo

Anita Tembo joined Karan in Zambia in 2020, initially tasked with managing a fleet of 10 trucks. Over the course of four years, Tembo demonstrated exceptional skills in fleet management, logistics coordination, and operational efficiency. Under her leadership, the fleet she manages has grown exponentially, expanding from the initial 10 trucks to an impressive 109 trucks. This remarkable growth is a testament to Tembo’s capabilities in scaling operations, optimizing resources, and meeting the increasing demands of the business. Her success story highlights Karan’s rapid growth and Tembo’s crucial role in supporting this expansion through efficient fleet management.

Mehul Sheth

Mehul Sheth embarked on his career with Karan in 2021, starting as the General Manager for operations in Mozambique. In this role, he showed remarkable leadership and business acumen, effectively managing the company’s interests in the country. His outstanding performance and strategic contributions to the Mozambique market did not go unnoticed. In recognition of his achievements, Sheth was promoted to the position of Managing Director for Mozambique in 2023. This promotion reflects Karan’s trust in his abilities to lead and grow the company’s presence in this important market.

Efile Jonathan

Efile Jonathan became part of the Karan family in 2021, starting his journey as a Station Manager at Golf Maisha in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). From the beginning, Jonathan showed exceptional management skills and a strong work ethic. His ability to efficiently run operations and handle high-pressure situations quickly set him apart. Currently, Jonathan is responsible for managing two of the busiest stations in the company’s network. His successful oversight of these high-volume locations demonstrates his capability to handle complex operations and his significant contribution to Karan’s success in the DRC market.

Nisarg Shah

Nisarg Shah has been an integral part of Karan since its inception, joining the company in 2020. He initially took on the role of CEO for Logistics operations in Zambia, where he demonstrated exceptional skills in managing complex supply chains and transportation networks. Shah’s expertise and strategic vision in logistics led to his promotion in 2024 to the position of Africa Logistics Head. In this expanded role, he now oversees the entire logistics operations across the African continent, playing a crucial part in Karan’s expansion and efficiency improvements throughout the region.

Uwineza Diane

Uwineza Diane began her career with Karan in January 2022, starting as a pump attendant in Rwanda. In this role, she quickly distinguished herself through her exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. Diane’s outstanding performance and leadership potential did not go unnoticed, and in a remarkably short span of just six months, she was promoted to the position of station manager in July 2022. This rapid promotion underscores Karan’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding talent, as well as Diane’s exceptional capabilities and rapid professional growth within the organization.

Shaswat Karki

Shaswat Karki joined Karan in 2020, taking on the role of Finance Controller for the company’s operations in Rwanda. From the outset, Karki demonstrated exceptional dedication to his work, showcasing a deep understanding of financial management and its critical role in business operations. His unwavering commitment, coupled with his strategic financial insights, significantly contributed to the company’s success in Rwanda. Recognizing his outstanding performance and leadership potential, Karan promoted Karki to the position of CEO for Rwanda, entrusting him with the overall management of the country’s operations.

Eldorado Muhai

Eldorado Muhai’s career at Karan began in May 2022 when he joined as an HR Assistant in Mozambique. Despite starting in an entry-level position, Muhai showed great potential and a strong desire for professional growth. Concurrent with his work at Karan, he pursued and completed his law degree, demonstrating remarkable dedication and time management skills. Recognizing his academic achievement and his growing expertise in human resources, Karan promoted Muhai to the position of HR Manager. This promotion showcases the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and supporting employees’ professional development.

Deepak Mahajan

Deepak Mahajan’s journey with Karan began in 2020 when he joined as General Manager in Mozambique. In this role, he demonstrated strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of the local market dynamics. Mahajan’s exceptional performance and strategic vision caught the attention of senior management, leading to a significant career advancement. In October 2022, he was promoted to the position of CEO for Zimbabwe operations. This promotion not only recognizes Mahajan’s contributions but also highlights Karan’s strategy of leveraging internal talent for expansion into new markets.

Niyomugabo Samuel

Niyomugabo Samuel’s journey with Karan commenced in January 2022 when he joined as a pump attendant in Rwanda. From the start, Samuel demonstrated a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a keen understanding of station operations. His exceptional performance led to a quick promotion to assistant manager in August 2022, just seven months after joining the company. Continuing his impressive career trajectory, Samuel has since been further promoted to the position of station manager. His rapid rise through the ranks is a testament to both his personal capabilities and Karan’s commitment to nurturing and promoting internal talent.
